The Atlas of Forgotten Mushrooms is the result of the author's more than thirty-year, almost detective-like and patient search in the archives and among the still living mycologists-memorialists. The research stopped at number 52. The author is convinced that it is not the final number, so he decided to give his research a book form in the hope that he will be able to reach other enthusiasts who will try to enrich the inventory with their knowledge and thus contribute to the next, expanded edition of this unusual publication.
