The true story of a woman who was kidnapped and spent 450 days as a jihadist hostage in the Sahara. When the Canadian Edith goes to Africa to get to know the culture and landscape there, she has no idea that the usual sightseeing trip will end with fifteen months of martyrdom. While crossing from Burkina Faso to Benin, she and her Italian friend are kidnapped by a group of armed men.
