In the first adventure called "Ferda, Ladybug and Bagpiper", Ferda meets Ladybug and Bagpiper. He makes enemies of Mr. Hlemýžda, then finds himself in prison and is sentenced to twenty-five lashes on the bottom. At the last moment, his friends save him and allow him to fly away in an airship made by the master spider Pilgrim.
