Singer Věra Martinová gave herself a new studio album Meritum for her round birthday. The recording was created with the help of renowned producer Boris Carloff, and on it the legendary musician proves that she is far from living only in the country genre. 

Thus, in twelve new compositions, listeners can discover lessons from Czech music of the sixties, but also the influences of the soul label Motown or the latest works of Johnny Cash. "I don't know if it's not the last album. That's why I deliberately wanted to collaborate with someone who has a different perspective on music," explains Věra Martinová.
