The new, edited edition of the unique dictionary brings about 65,000 Czech words and phrases and over 160,000 Latin equivalents from all periods, including modern times. In addition to terms from everyday life, the user will find here the most important social science, natural science, medical and pharmaceutical terms, as well as expressions from industry, agriculture, military, sports, but also computer technology, and in a certain selection also sentences, proverbs and proverbs. A brief overview of the Latin vocabulary in the dictionary appendices, prepared mainly in the form of tables, and examples of modern Latin texts enable the user to translate Czech texts, such as ceremonial documents, speeches, invitations to congresses and symposia, graduation announcements, doctoral diplomas or professional papers and articles , but possibly as well as regular news from the daily press.
The dictionary is intended not only for high school and university students, but for all interested members of the general public.
