There are paths one does not choose and people one would rather not meet.
Helen's boyfriend is unavailable. The first joint child is born, and after Karl, the earth collapsed. A young woman runs away from the city to Wallachian solitude, from people and from her mother, who knows exactly how a daughter should live, but she herself is unhappy and lonely.
Tereza has problems with an intolerable boss, and her husband withdrew a larger amount from the joint account without her knowledge. As if it wasn't enough that she has to deal with a mid-life crisis, a strained relationship and a daughter who doesn't understand. When the police appear at the door of the apartment, they understand that something bad has happened.
The life paths of both women are interrupted by a cruel event and the stories intersect.
Each of them has to deal with the fateful loss in their own way. Tereza tries to unravel someone else's secret and Helena struggles with her own insecurity and dependence on others.
Can they find the strength to move on in an unexpected situation? And can they ever be happy again?
