Halloween night 1982. Many people have been brutally murdered or disappeared at the Blackwater Hotel, formerly known as the Perron House. The events of that night remained shrouded in mystery.

Until now…

Ray and Rita Pearson, along with their daughter Chloe, move into the hotel to help with its renovation and grand opening. All under the watchful eye of geeky owner Marcus Blackwater.

As the opening of the hotel approaches, inexplicable things begin to happen. Even Rita is starting to change.

Unbeknownst to the family, someone in the background is making completely different plans, and Marcus Blackwater also has his own - which his grandfather had already started working on many years ago.

The story culminates in a terrifying turn of events that will completely change everything you thought about this house... and its inhabitants.
