The author drew the ideas for the 27 short stories from personal experiences and events that took place in the hunts in which he was a member during less than fifty years of hunting. Some were also helped by stories from hunting destinations during regular visits to the mountains of the beloved Slovakia. Most of them are accompanied by the humor and ingenuity of the members of the green guild and can become a lesson not only for novice hunters, but also for all other nature lovers.
