Our grandmothers' household II is dedicated to the processing, preservation and storage of meat, fruit, the production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as vinegars and flavored oils, the collection and processing of wild plants. The final chapter consists of ingredients and recipes that are interesting and unusual and that could not be classified otherwise due to their diversity. At the end of each chapter dedicated to the production or processing of individual products, exact recipes or instructions are given so that specific products can be prepared. The selection of individual recipes was based on simplicity, usefulness, or universality or an unusual taste experience. The households of our grandmothers is a book about memory, about the memory of mothers, our mothers who carefully communicated to their daughters the secrets of household management, the art that was the basis of family preservation. The homes of our grandmothers, Alena Anežka Gajdušková, will allow us to travel through time, thus reviving a disappearing or almost extinct art. The homes of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, which had an apparent simplicity and simplicity, were the result of the traditions and experiences of many generations. Our ancestors needed little for ordinary "farming", which they drew from their surroundings, from things close and available. Time has tested the recipes and procedures, many of them have not yet been surpassed and many of them we would like to return to.
