The hero of an American film, who is not quite human, although he behaves more humanly than most of the people around him, would give the kingdom for his hands. Edward is the creation of an old inventor, but he died before he could complete it and replace the ingenious assembly of sharp blades with human hands. Edward was left all alone in the dilapidated castle, and who knows how long it took before the enterprising Peggy discovered him by chance and took him with her to the city. Although Edward looks like some kind of menacing monster, he is actually kind, kind and very shy. He soon gains recognition and admiration for his editing skills, but as it turns out, there are also envious and evil people who are disturbed by the boy's popularity, especially when they notice the affection he has for the pretty girl Kim.
