Workflow

The product needs to be mixed briefly in the supplied container with slow revolutions before the actual application. Mix by hand or with a low speed mixer. Dilution with water is allowed only for the preparation of penetration. The other layers must not be diluted with water.

Preservation of cardboard roofing

Apply the S-T4 material to the prepared substrate in at least 2 layers using the cross method, apply each subsequent layer after the previous layer has dried. In places of contact with the chimney, attic or similar places, reinforce the coating with a technical fabric, which you insert into the wet substance and pull to the appropriate height. Coat the fabric properly with S-T4.

Design of seamless roofing

Apply S-T4 material to the prepared substrate in at least 4 layers. Application of the next layer must be applied to the matured previous layer. The individual layers are always applied in a direction perpendicular to the application of the previous layer in order to achieve a perfect overlap.

Apply the first layer of S-T4 evenly over the entire surface of the roof by rubbing it into the base. After the first layer has dried, apply a second layer of S-T4 in a criss-cross pattern and insert technical fabric or low weight geotextile into it. But first he applies the S-T4 compound in strips the width of the fabric. Place a cloth over the fresh material and rub it into the layer of paint so that it soaks up the material. Wipe the top layer of fabric immediately. Care must be taken to make a translation at the joint (fabric to fabric) with a width of min. 10 cm. Let dry. The third layer is done in the same way and in the same direction as the first layer. Apply the fourth layer after the previous coating has dried again in a direction perpendicular to the third layer.

In the case of a requirement to increase the resistance to traffic, the last coating should be treated with mineral sprinkles. Mineral sprinkling is applied to the living last layer. Slate flakes are suitable for sprinkling.
