Františka's novella is being published for the first time and four novellas from The Suicide Bridge are being published for the second time. Františka was originally part of the book The Seventh Veil about people living on the edge of life and death due to a serious illness and how their surroundings react to this condition. The author did not finish the book and only František's first novella remained.
