Preparation for kindergarten Coloring

The activities in this workbook develop children's ability to recognize colors and they will also strengthen their fingers and improve their dexterity when working with a crayon - skills needed for writing letters and numbers. At first, the child will just doodle to enjoy working with crayons and new colors. Subsequently, he will practice choosing the correct color crayon and coloring the designated white area. With matching picture activities, the child will also practice drawing lines. Gradually, as the child becomes more and more dexterous when working with a crayon, his coloring will be neater and more confident. While coloring, children will learn in a fun way how to properly hold and use any writing utensil.
