Is it possible to write something new, original about a star of popular music who has enjoyed the interest of audiences and media for more than 40 years? Is it still possible to write something new and fresh about Hana Zagorová? Journalist Scarlett Wilková asked herself this question when Czech Television suggested that she write an entire book with Hana Zagorová, with whom she had interviewed several times for MF Dnes in the past. Then they got together several times, had a friendly chat, and suddenly it all came out naturally. And so this book was created, which we could call "the report of my conversations with Hana Zagorová". A report about a wonderful life full of paradoxes and incredible coincidences with a directly fatal impact. She is imbued with the presence of an exceptionally gifted singer, a sensitive poet who writes verses and song lyrics, which in her presentation on stage become stories listened to by the audience literally breathlessly, an imaginative presenter and screenwriter constantly looking for new inspiration and new subjects and forms, perfect professionals, but also personalities , which coincidentally became part of the modern history of the fall of the totalitarian regime. Probably the most, however, is the news about an extremely strong and perceptive person who does not cling to the external attributes of fame and to whom repeated closeness to death gave him the most valuable gift - the ability to rejoice in every lived moment, to empathize with the problems and desires of others and to be a constant for them, in whose aura is covered. In a very natural and unpretentious way, the book destroys the myth of nice, carefree girls singing about rainbow fairies and painted pictures. That is why it bears the characteristic subtitle Few people know.
In the book, the reader will also find Hana Zagorová's messages from colleagues and friends, a rich photographic accompaniment, reproductions of period documents including the protocol from the STB interrogation, a DVD with a selection of Hana Zagorová's TV songs, her performances and performances in the programs Šest ran do hučelo, Dluhy Hana Zagorová 4, recording of performances at the Sopot festival 1984 and the program When I Can't Sleep.
