The book "History of the Olympik Club" is a look back at the era of big beat beginnings, which were born in the famous Prague club sixty years ago. In an attractive form containing a considerable amount of archival photos and period materials, it brings not only the beginnings of the couple Šimek and Grossmann, the founders and spiritual fathers of the music club, but above all maps club and beat activities during the sixties of the last century.
So far, our book market has not offered a similarly focused publication. The "History of the Olympik Club" tries to pay off this debt with the memories of those who witnessed the beat explosion in our country, the first discos or the first rock magazine, but also the birth of the legendary couple Šimek and Grossmann.
