How Honza wanted to be a pécival

It is tempting, become a pecival! Roll around on the stove, warm yourself and stuff yourself with everything that mom brings under your nose... But the stove is running out. And where there is a furnace and a fire in it, there is usually a devil nearby, because fire is the devil's favorite toy. And it's very difficult to come to an agreement with the devil! Honza alone is usually not enough...

Janek Žežulka was a skilled tailor , but he could not sew a suit for Mayor Hromad that would fit him on Monday as well as on Friday. Especially when Saturday and Sunday were the Knedlík festival and Hromada was able to stuff like no one else. And so Janek had to leave the village and all he had left was a needle. He wasn't even allowed to take the scissors! But soon he got new ones, and they cut in such a way that any tailor would give anything in the world for them.
