We all know a number of celebrities from television screens, stage boards, concert stages, newspapers and magazines or other media. But only a select few get to work with them, who often have to be very lucky to get to such personalities, and even better to work with them. But even if you put any two of these lucky people next to each other who are equally close to the same personalities, their experiences and memories will be different each time. Therein lies the magic of uniqueness, and this book by Václav Junek, a former director, dramaturg and producer of the ČST, one-time director of the Prague Lucerna and currently a well-known writer and publicist, builds on it. During his rich life, he met and personally collaborated with a whole range of important personalities, whether it was Karel Gott, Miroslav Menšík, Ján Roháč, Jaroslav Dietl, Helena Růžičková, Karel Vlach, but he also met, for example, Louis Armstrong during his performance in Prague, as evidenced by a photo signed by him with a dedication to the author. However, the book is not an extensive biography of any of those mentioned, nor of any of the many other personalities that appear in it. These are fragments of Junk's memories and personal experiences, which, however, are very valuable for the reader, as additional interesting stones in the endless mosaic of the lives of great personalities of culture. In this way, the reader will look at many famous personalities from a completely different and unique point of view, and this is what makes this book attractive and interesting.
