The well-known Czech hermeticist František Kabelák wrote this book between 1935 and 1973, but it does not lose any of its topicality and will provide a lot of information even for today's readers.
In the introduction to the book, the concept of yoga is explained in more detail: Together with the sánkhya method, yoga forms one of the cognitive paths of hermetic art, which we call psychurgy. Psychurgy is practical esotericism, or the art of seeing correctly, applied to the problem of anthropogenesis, i.e. to the problem of the origin of the intellect.
The Czech edition of the book is supplemented by, among other things, a translation of Lukáš Loužecký's classic work Sánkhja-kárik, a selection from correspondence related to the topics contained in the book, and a facsimile of the first version of the Book of Yoga, which was printed in 1940 in Medium magazine.
