Detective Hanzel's son unexpectedly returns home after years, but instead of joy there are problems in the form of a huge revolver in his waist and lies about where he has been all along. Krauz and Chosé promise a colleague that they will take care of his son. But they have no idea what they are getting into. Burger and Hanzel are busy with the murder of a high-ranking official and investigate it so selflessly that they both end up in the hospital. Not even Krauz and Chosé have any luck watching young Hanzel. The fact that they will reveal a secret more than half a century old does not add to their joy. In the end, they all meet in one hospital, but it is not at all certain that they will all survive...
