Feeding, protection and safety for birds all year round

Probably no book about birds has been more popular with our western neighbors than Feeding the Birds - but rightly so.
The leading German ornithologist Peter Berthold claims in it that due to the massive drop in bird numbers by 80%, it is appropriate to feed our bird friends all year round, but especially in the summer when the young are being fed.
