The debut album of the band Škwor under the name Vyhlašuju boj was released at the very end of 2002 and is rightfully called a cult record. This happened on the basis of a victory in one of the then popular search music contests, and its release started the more than twenty-year journey of this Prague heavy-duty quartet from underground clubs to sold-out halls. The record was produced by Aleš Brichta, and the group presented itself to a wide audience for the first time thanks to the then-popular genre and media label "new metal". Petr Hrdlička's uncompromising lyrics already indicated the extraordinary talent of the band's frontman and singer to appeal to a wide audience. In connection with the ability to pursue melodiousness with a modern rock sound, the foundation stone was laid for the success of other albums in Škvor's rich discography. The biggest hit of the album is the song My tears will not be seen, still an essential song at Škvor's concerts. On the occasion of 20 years since its release, Vhlašuju boj is now being released for the first time as a vinyl LP in a new sound remastering.
