The prose debut of the American poet is a powerful statement about our present, which is driven and shaped by the whimsical world of social media - that hyperreality, biting its own tail, which affects events in the real world with its democratization of voices in public space, relativization and emptying of concepts. The book is divided into two parts, which are diametrically opposed in their focus, pitting the real and virtual worlds against each other. In reality, yin and yang, the combined vessels, represent two sides of the same coin. The first depicts the life and thoughts of the main character, who we would probably label as an influencer. They are fragments of real events, their reflection in new media and reflections with which the heroine comments on the events around her. In the second part, the perspective changes: the heroine's sister is expecting a child affected by Proteus syndrome, who has no chance of long-term survival. Everything boils down to a hospital room, to a deep experience of the present, an effort to capture, perceive and imprint every second. All of this is conveyed to us by sensitive inner observations, contrasting so much with the overwrought bombast of the heroine's virtual world.
