Annabell Goldberg lives in a world where mastering magic is common. People have long since gotten used to the fact that they can run into a huge wolf on the street and have a magical drink in a bar. Ann is an agent of the Department of Magical Activities and her job is to protect people from dangerous magical creatures. Her ability to turn into a cougar helps her a lot with this. When her best friend goes missing, Ann finds herself in a spiral of events that she may not even be able to face.
