We are currently watching the final emancipation of Ukrainians as a European political nation. Ukraine resists the aggression of imperial Russia and pays with blood for its freedom and ours.
The war, which began in 2014, entered the most brutal phase of invasions on February 24, 2022. Russia's declared goal is the liquidation of the Ukrainian nation. Ukrainian intellectuals reflect the war as the aggression of the colonial power against the former colony and the resistance against Russia as the culmination of decolonization. The Ukrainians, supported by the West, including the Czech Republic, hold up a mirror to us: Honor is more than well-being, and bleeding for freedom is a virtue. In the context of the Ukrainian "Revolution of Dignity" and "Civilization War", the essays and interviews of the Ukrainian philosopher Konstantin Sigov on the phenomenon of Europeanness were created:

The book Message from Kiev about Ukraine and Europe is a testimony of the struggle of Ukrainians with barbarism and the meaningfulness of the struggle for freedom and goodness. Respect for human dignity is not a matter of course and freedom is not free.
