The Scottish Highlands is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque parts of the United Kingdom, but also one of the roughest. The proximity of the ocean and the Gulf Stream causes frequent weather changes, which, together with the mountainous relief, have shaped the local inhabitants into a hardy and peculiar nation. Thanks to his indomitability, he has maintained his culture, tradition and language to this day, which is reflected in the topography, among other things.
