Many princes, kings and emperors sat on the Czech throne. However, we call only one of them - St. Wenceslas - the protector and patron of our country, we turn to him for help when we are in trouble, when things are busy outside our borders, when our country is threatened by tank engines and the roar of warplanes. We believe that our holy prince will always help us - after all, even his life was full of dangers and pitfalls. The book will delight young and older readers who like the lives of saints, who want to remember the famous deeds of Prince Wenceslas and places associated with St. Wenceslas veneration.
