Opposites attract. This also applies to a pop star who gets stuck in a small town and the local baker.
Amélie Rose, known to her fans as Rae Rose, is feeling burnt out after years of subjugating her life to the "pop princess" image. He gets inspired by the movie Roman Holiday with his favorite Audrey Hepburn and escapes to Rome in the middle of the night. But this Rome is in Kentucky, USA.
When Noah Walker discovers Amelia in a broken-down car in his front yard, he makes it clear that he has no time or patience for celebrity problems. He has his hands full with the bakery that his grandmother bequeathed to him and pacifying the nice but nosy neighbors. With mixed feelings, he ends up letting the pop star live in his house in a guest room - but only until he fixes her car.
Over time, however, Noah begins to see Amelia in Rae Rose, a good-hearted, slightly goofy, but lonely girl after years spent in the public eye, and against her will, he slowly begins to grow closer to her. In return, Amélie helps him transform from an old grumbler into a person with an open heart. Gradually, he falls in love with his companion and his magical town. But even Audrey eventually had to leave Rome...
