It is Christmas Day and the musicians from the foothill village are setting out to carol. For the first time, Honzík and Andulka, the children of the carver Tomš, go with them. They promised their father that they were big enough to handle it. A journey through the snowy landscape awaits them from cottage to cottage, and maybe even some earnings for singing well. Honzík would prefer cookies. However, the neighbors are eagerly looking out for them! And who did the Parakeet see up there in the sky?
