The book is about Peter Freestone and how he became the very person Freddie Mercury chose as his assistant for the last twelve years of his life. Peter made it his mission to use the life lessons he was taught alongside Mercury to benefit the current generation, even if it meant making their lives just a little bit more bearable. The book will guide you along this path as well. From South London, to the streets of Calcutta, across mountain tops and boarding schools in the south of India to Selfridges and the Royal Opera House in London and then to Freddie Mercury.
After Freddie Mercury's death, Peter worked in a hospital for a while, bringing him the closest he'd ever been to his former dream and plan to become a doctor. He also met with Queen fans around the world and helped them come to terms with the loss of their hero.
He is now passing on his life experiences and educating teenagers around the world about the ever-present threat of HIV/AIDS, with the help of the TFA Project, which was created by a young Czech, Milan Devinne.
This biography takes you up to the present day, where Freestone becomes a citizen of his beloved Czech Republic and shows us how he was literally in the right place at the right time.
