The famous detective Agatha Christie on a trip around the world - a unique period travelogue reveals her unknown, adventurous face. One hundred years ago, in January 1922, Christie set sail on a ten-month pilgrimage. A promotional trade mission took her to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Canada and New York. Dozens of wonderful places, quirky characters and distressing and humorous situations - she described all this in letters to her mother and documented it with a number of photographs, postcards and newspaper clippings. The compiler of the title, the author's grandson Mathew Prichard, supplemented the book with memories taken from her autobiography.
