Venezuela, once the richest country in Latin America with huge oil reserves, is now a broken country, where hunger, violence and chaos reign. Civilization has completely collapsed here. The electricity does not work, there is no drinking water or petrol, money has lost its value and is paid in gold. The government merged with the criminals, the army with the cartels, and whoever didn't escape the borders becomes a slave in the gold mines, because at least they get to eat there regularly. Slovak journalist Tomáš Forró repeatedly returned to Venezuela, most recently as the only foreign journalist at a time when non-profit organizations withdrew from this dangerous country and adventurers stopped visiting it. This resulted in a unique report about the disruption of society and the state.
