When a small plane crashes in the Canadian wilderness miles from civilization, only two passengers survive: Rusty Carlson, a Beverly Hills real estate agent who has never faced anything more dangerous than Los Angeles rush hour traffic, and Cooper Landry, an embittered Vietnam veteran with nightmares from war and prison camp.
Rusty is hurt, scared, and alone with a man she's afraid of. Cooper is as hostile and unforgiving as the mountainous terrain they're stuck in. If they had a choice, they would each go their own way. But they don't have. They must stay together if they want to survive!
So they join forces against the harsh elements, injuries and a pair of thugs they encounter. A dilapidated cabin in the middle of the woods will provide them with shelter from the coming winter… but they have no protection against the attraction that becomes the true test of their bravery!
