This salt was discovered at considerable depths (more than 2000 m below the surface) during exploratory drilling in the Russian Federation.

It contains a significant amount of Mg (magnesium), but also other minerals. This salt can be used in the form of a bath, but also as a local poultice of a saturated solution.
