Ali wants a horse most of all and goes after it. And even if it's just a rusty old colt, in her imagination he's a stout stallion on which she can do handstands, stand on her head, walk around on the lunge, jump up and down on it, throw somersaults—in short, on which she can show off her comedic and circus talent, which is not yet an art, but Ali is already convinced at least of a circus career with the boys next door and of world fame. Those guys - they're neighborhood thugs. With them, she experiences her adventures at her grandfather's in the countryside, in the building where the King, grandfather old Sokol, rules. But Ali suddenly becomes the mistress of the house, not only the boys from the neighborhood, but actually the whole world that moves "around her". And at the same time, everyone learns a lot of things - not only good behavior, cleanliness of the household, but also that regular exercise in any form, even the most wild and fanciful, is both healthy and useful.
