The word "Bible" comes from the Greek "Biblos", i.e. books. The processing of the "DIVINE LIBRARY", as it was called in some periods, took about 1,600 years. The Bible consists of two parts: OLD and NEW TESTAMENT, which are names that have been used since the end of the 2nd century after Christ and mean "LEGACY" or "LAW", i.e. the covenant between God and his people.
The OLD TESTAMENT is a reflection of the religious memory of the people of Israel. The revelations and revelations that the Lord made to His chosen ones were passed down orally from generation to generation for a long time until they were finally captured in writing.
The NEW TESTAMENT describes the coming of the Messiah and the work of Jesus Christ from the beginning to his death and resurrection. The apostles and disciples captured it in writing, creating the "GOSPEL".
"THE ACTS OF THE HOLY APOSTLES", written by the physician Saint Luke, then describes the beginnings of the Christian movement up to Paul, who was originally a zealous supporter of the doctrines of the scriptures and the Pharisees and who, by the grace of God, became one of the most faithful followers of Jesus.
