The recordings of the BBC war programs dedicated to Czechoslovak airmen in the ranks of the Royal Air Force in Great Britain are still engaging not only for their atmosphere (in addition to editorial texts and composed strips about combat operations, real pilots also speak here), but also for their acoustic appeal. Images from gramophone records or sound films are marked by the typical crackle of a decades-old mechanical recording, but you can still appreciate and enjoy the work of the masters of sound much better than the listeners for whom the sessions from London were intended during the war.
