The original radio recording of Lehár's operetta Paganini was made between February 22 and 24, 1954 in the recording Studio 1 of the Czechoslovak Radio in Vinohrady, Prague. Listeners and operetta fans met the new recording of Lehár's operetta in an excellent musical staging by the conductor Vlastislav Antonín Vipler and with the leading singers of the National Theater in the main roles for the first time two months later, on Saturday, April 3, 1954 at 7:45 p.m., at the Národní okruh station Prague.
