One of Jaroslav Foglar's most popular novels, Chata v Jezerní kotlina, was first published in 1939. Thirty years later (1969/1970), Marko Čermák transformed it into a black-and-white cartoon series based on Foglar's script, and twenty years later (1989) this series was colored.
As part of Marko Čermáka's Klassické Komiksy edition, the color version of Chata v Jezerní kotlina is published as the 14th volume of the edition.
The book is traditionally supplemented with accompanying words and visual material.
Marko Čermák painted a new cover for the new edition.
