Sixteen-year-old Simon has known for some time that he is gay, but he is not yet ready to tell the world. The only exception is the mysterious Blue, with whom Simon has been exchanging e-mails for several months and their mutual bond is growing stronger. But then sensitive correspondence falls into the wrong hands, and Simon becomes the victim of blackmail: either he does what is asked of him, even if he doesn't like it, or he risks having the secret emails read by the whole school. However, there is much more at stake - the shy Blue could be frightened by the unwanted publicity and Simon would never find out who Blue really is... Recommended age 13 +.
