Every drop of water will one day end the sweet years of a girl's idleness, and Ája will know that, from now on compulsory school. In teacher Miss Vlnka's small class, as a fresh first grader, she has a lot to do in order to master the curriculum of all subjects: both those in the gym for better fitness, as well as the basics of transforming into other states or perhaps water writing. Knowledge sometimes crawls out of it like a crayfish from a stream, but no one learned has fallen from heaven or into the Heavenly Pond. This is a very special pond! If only Ája wasn't always annoyed by her older co-dropper Dája, who is full of horror. Fortunately, the mischievous cycle of water dissolves their quarrels as it sweeps the two schoolgirls through a water treatment plant, a reservoir, pipes, even a sewer and a treatment plant.
The poetic fairy tale of today's most widely read Czech novelist reminds us that we are different from each other - that's also why there is a bright rainbow above us. And that everyone's freedom also entails responsibility for the whole.
