The final part of the trilogy with investigator Fredrik Beier The body of Henry Falck, the author of a report exposing a conspiracy at the highest levels of politics, is found in an Oslo car wash. A television reporter who disappears shortly after Falck's murder is interested in the controversial documentary. The name of Fredrik's late father also appears in the investigation, which will be put in charge of first lieutenant Fredrik Beier and his colleague Kafa Ikbálová. The case has more to do with him than originally thought, and Fredrik will see the biggest mystery of his life unravel.
