The case of Olga Hepnarová - a girl who killed because she didn't know how to live.
An attempt to probe into the soul of a girl who deliberately killed eight people with a truck in 1973 in Letná, Prague.
On Tuesday, July 10, 1973, twenty-two-year-old Olga Hepnarová got into a truck and drove into people waiting for a tram in Letná in Prague. Eight dead and many wounded were left behind. With this, according to her statement, she took revenge on people for her joyless childhood and generally unhappy life. In his book, Roman Cílek tries to map Olža's life story, understand her thinking and uncover the background and motive of her act. It presents readers with her own statements from the court process and confronts them with the views of her parents, sister, boyfriend, co-workers and casual acquaintances. The book also contains the opinions of psychologists and psychiatrists who dealt with the girl's personality. The opinions of a social worker, a graphologist, a numerologist and an astrologer are also attached.
