Orlické hory offers not only famous recreation centers, but also quiet places where many visitors don't set foot. We can find extremely valuable natural sites here, from the Bukačka forest to Zemská brana. Admired monuments include unique castles in the foothills, whether in Častolovice, Doudleby nad Orlicí or Nové Město nad Metují, and we can also visit a church in Neratov, whose fate and appearance are unparalleled in our country. The system of military fortifications from 1935–1938 is also attractive. Bicycles and cross-country skis can be used for wonderful hikes from spring to winter, after all, the crest of the Eagle Mountains is one of the most beautiful in our country.
