With each dead prostitute, the investigator's sense of failure grows. In the end, it is his partner, pathologist Margaret Campbell, who is on maternity leave at the time, who makes a shocking discovery that will hopefully help the police track down the mysterious murderer... It would be about time, because in addition to the other bodies whose findings are only days apart , the public, the media, and superiors pressure Li Jen through personal letters, even the murderer himself, and his life and career begin to unstoppably fall apart. It must finally stop!
