Ivy, Mateo and Cal used to be close, but now they are only united by a common high school and the fact that all three of them have a nerd. Ivy lost the student council election, Mateo is just one step away from burning out, and Cal was rejected by a girl. Again. When this trio runs into each other in the parking lot, they decide to skip class and go outside the school. Just the three of them like old times. Who would have said? As soon as they leave the parking lot, they realize that they have nothing to say to each other. Until they notice another Carleton High student who has decided to pull the trigger and go after him.
