Books have damaged covers

The author of this publication undertook the book about Czech ponds, Wandering through the Czech Landscape, for more than three years.

He walked hundreds of kilometers, covered thousands by train, bus and foot, and photographed the clear, shiny and frozen surfaces of more than 250 ponds from the dams. He had to choose - there are around thirty-two thousand ponds here! It focused on the touristic, landscape-creating and recreational importance of selected ponds, brings as much information as possible about each one, and marginally deals with the history of Czech pond farming and important builders of waterworks.
