Haworth Rectory, February 1846:
The Brontë sisters – Anne, Emily and Charlotte – are busy with their literary careers. While they are looking for a publisher for their collection of poems, each of them is already thinking about their own novel. At the same time, however, he is hungry for some adventure and another "detective" case.
And what the devil didn't want: one frosty evening in February, their housekeeper, Tabby, tells them of a gruesome discovery at Top Withens, the local seat of the Bradshaw family, where human bones have been found in the front of the chimney. What's worse - the bones appear to have belonged to a child!
This is clearly a bad sign for Tabby. Filled with fear, she warns the three sisters and does not forget to add the terrible rumors surrounding the Bradshaw family. Word in the village is that Clifton Bradshaw, on the verge of bankruptcy, sold his soul to the devil for the promise of riches. Isn't it somehow related to the bones found?
The sisters are deeply affected by the whole event, so they decide to take action. But soon they will discover that evil has thrown its tangled webs and they have foolishly let themselves be drawn into them...
