Amelia and her husband Emerson are visited by Viscount Blacktower. He presents them with a mysterious map indicating a route deep into the Nubian desert and an even more mysterious message scrawled on an ancient papyrus, which he believes is a message from his long-lost son. Amélie and Emerson don't really believe in their authenticity, yet they are obsessed with the desire to go to the still unexplored regions, where they say a miraculous treasure has been hidden for a long time in the rock kingdom.
