The horse charmer Damián Álvarez is celebrating great international success and has many female fans. He learns about his already grown son just a few days before his son takes his own life. Shocked, Damián renounces all tours and retreats to the family estate in Andalusia.

When Linda Grünfelder, his son's psychiatrist, unexpectedly visits him, he first blames her and is hardened towards everyone around him. In the unique atmosphere of a Spanish stud farm, family histories unravel and the lives of people who would never have met without a tragic event are connected.
