How to live when a person receives a Danish gift in wine? A long-uninhabited old villa with a neglected garden. And one big life loss on top. Thirty-five-year-old Jaroslav Havlát returns to his childhood home at the moment of a serious turning point in his life. After a botched "church career" he intends to start a new life, finally on his own for the first time. Perhaps also with a little hope, but above all with the burden of burnout, loneliness, with a feeling of alienation from everyone and everything. The neglected garden and the work in it become his only kind arms. In isolation among the trees, bushes and flowers, he tries to find himself again and give life some more meaning. Gradually he gets to know the neighbors and more and more begins to understand his strange alienation. And with that comes oppressive conflicts, because the knowledge of oneself is more terrifying than he could possibly have imagined before. Where is the line between rejection and acceptance of the unacceptable? Will there be at least someone who will understand him and give him a hand? Is there a way out of this dark night?
